Young Joni is looking for a talented server!

Young Joni is a nationally acclaimed restaurant located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis, celebrated for its wood-fired cuisine, innovative cocktails, and dynamic atmosphere. Overview:
The server is responsible for providing excellent guest service that is aligned with the restaurant’s vision and values. This role involves crafting a welcoming and satisfying experience for guests, and working well with the team to execute efficient and smooth service. Servers must be knowledgeable about the menu and able to handle various service tasks efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant setting.

Guest Service and Hospitality - follows steps of service with strong interpersonal skills to create a satisfying dining experience
Teamwork - engages with teammates and management to meet shared goals and expectations
Health and Safety - complies with policies that protect the team and environment

Core Competencies
Food and beverage knowledge: holds and shares detailed knowledge related to menus
People Skills: able to quickly determine what type of interaction will reasonably create a welcoming experience
Clear Communication: expresses self well and understands others to create clarity
Organization: has reliable systems that allows them to effectively multitask and meet expectations in a timely manner
Intuition: able to sense how to follow or blur guidelines to meet the needs of guests, team, & operations
Problem-solving Skills: consistently makes sound decisions with and without support

Related Qualifications
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift and carry items up to 30lbs, and work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Age Requirement: Meets the legal age requirement to serve alcohol
